We want to take the what-if factor out of your purchase from Grip-Lock. If for any reason within 30 days of receipt of your Grip-Lock from our site, you are not completely satisfied you can return your Grip-Lock to us in new condition with original packaging for a full refund, note shipping charges will not be refunded. You will be responsible for all return shipping and freight charges. We will notify you via email of your refund to the value of the purchase price paid by you once we have received and processed the returned Grip-Lock. Refund will be by way of payment to the credit card you used to make the purchase and will be conducted via PayPal and subject to their terms and conditions including timeframes.

Check the size of your bikes twist-grip
We have been very careful to ensure that the descriptions of the features of our Grip-Locks are detailed. You should be able to find out anything you need to know within a couple of clicks in our site. It is very important that you check that the diameter size of your bike twist is within our sizing guide. With or without the three rubber inserts in a combination it will fit 27-38mm diameter twist grips. Our team is clued up about this and can help if you are confused in any way (contact us if you want to discuss). We are now developing Grip-Locks to fit bikes with fatter grips so check back here soon if yours is outside of our size guide.

Warranty Policy
Grip-Locks warranty policy covers any Grip-Lock purchased from our site for 6 months from the purchase date. Grip-Lock may cover claims for product failure outside of this period depending on the individual circumstances.  We ask that if you ever feel disatisfied by either the performance of your Grip-Lock or any other aspect of the service you receive from us that you contact us without delay. Warranty claims under the standard 6 month warranty policy cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. If the Grip-Lock is still under the 6 month warranty then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. If the product is out of warranty, then we may still be able to have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair might be charged to the customer depending on the situation. Grip-Locks Warranty Policy has 3 solutions to any claim made:

1.      Wherever possible we will endeavour to repair any fault due to manufacture and return it to you at no charge.

2.      Where repair is not possible or practical we will replace the product with the same or similar product.

3.      Where neither of the above solutions is possible or practical, then we will refund you for the value of the product, freight excluded.

How to return a product:
If you think that you have a valid reason to return your Grip-Lock under the policies described above please contact us before sending your order back. The processes we use are different dependent upon each situation and location across the globe! If you don't contact us first it could delay your request or result in your claim being rejected. In all cases proof of purchase directly from us will be necessary to process your request.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act in New Zealand sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Grip-Lock. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, we have the right to repair, replace or a refund you for the product.

Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act in New Zealand.

Out of Stock and Backorders
While we do everything we can to make sure our stock levels are accurate at all times there may be occasions due to unforeseen circumstances where we are unable to fulfill your desired colour or order size. If this should occur we will contact you and offer either a store credit for the value of your purchase or a full refund.
